As a computer programmer you will be responsible for writing detailed step by step instructions or programs that help the computer solve problems. Work includes writing programs or software that is designed specifically for accomplishing a certain task such as accounting or inventory control. Also, write programs that are used to control a whole computer network withing a building or several buildings.

WHAT YOU NEED:

To become a computer programmer you will need a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related subjects suchs as mathematics or commerce. You may also have a college computer diploma or a post secondary study with experience in engineering, science, business or other technical areas.
