As a teller, you will work in banks or other financial institutions and serve customers by processing cheques, cash deposits, withdrawals, payments and other transactions. You will also perform other duties such as balancing and counting cash, preparing and filing statements and calculating foreign exchange rates.
WHAT YOU NEED:
To become a teller, you must complete high school and have some banking experience. Most of your training for this career is on-the-job training.
SALARY:
$14,000 to $18,000
