As an insurance agent, you will sell life, fire, accident, automobile, marine, flood and other types of insurance to customers. You must have a good math background because you will be working with large numbers to figure out rates and premiums for clients. You will need to attend to clients if they are in accidents, fires or other problems they may encounter.

WHAT YOU NEED:

To become an insurance agent, you will need to complete high school with business and marketing courses. Industry sponsored insurance training courses are available and are necessary by some employers.
