SPORTS PROGRAM DIRECTOR

As a sports program director, you will you plan, organize and supervise various sports programs such as swimming, aerobics, gymnastics, tennis and other sports. You will also plan recreational programs such as arts and crafts, drama, teen clubs, camping and more. Activities for senior citizens and disabled people will also be planned. Directors recruit and train full time staff, volunteers and part time leaders and instructors.

WHAT YOU NEED:

To become a sports program director, a university degree in physical education, recreology, sports administration or kinisiology is required. You may also have a college diploma in recreation plus experience in recreation and sports activities.

SALARY:
$25,000 to $26,500
