As an air traffic controller, you will be responsible for directing air traffic within airport's airspace. You will need to observe aircraft from airport towers and watch radar and other monitors to ensure safe landings and takeoffs of aircraft. You are also responsible for all moving aircraft and service vehicles and you must direct them around the airport using radio and other communication equipment.

WHAT YOU NEED:

To become an air traffic controller, you will need to complete a traffic controller's training program. You must also have an air traffic controller's licence.
