Giants were creatures that were like very tall humans. Giants stood for nature (such as the earth and water) and the elements. The giants were actually a race of Titans. They were born when Uranus' blood fell into the lap of Gaea.

All humans started out being giants. They were huge and were strong. The humans growth pattern decreased, and they became shorter. One group of the original humans stayed the same size, making them seem to be giants.
