Centaur was a Greek
creature that had the lower body and legs of a horse, and the
arms, shoulders, and head of a man. Centaurs lived in northern
Greece in Thessaly. The most famous Centaur was Chiron. Chiron
was just and intelligent. Chiron taught many useful things to
many Greek heroes including Achilles. Most Centaurs were drunkards
and acted wildly. They also lived in tribes.
