Stan LeMaster
During a bout with insomnia in 1966, Mr. LeMaster, retired General Electric computer engineer, originated the idea of propagating seedlings from trees traceable to famous persons and famous events. The seedlings would be donated for planting on public property. With the help of many individuals, such as Theodore Klein, Jim Fegenbush Jr., and Jim Stanley with the Atchison High School class of 1965, the Atchison museum was made possible. We give our thanks to all who helped make this possible, especially Mr. LeMaster!
