Hello, my name is Chris Yetman, and I have the good fortune to be the coach for these monkeys. I was born on August 28, 1964 in Tucson, Arizona, and still live there which seems to indicate a trend toward masochism, which I will elaborate on later.
I graduated from Amphitheater High School (Tucson, Arizona) in 1982, earned a BA from Carleton College (Northfield, Minnesota) in 1986, received my teaching certification from the University of Arizona (Tucson, AZ), and landed a job at Canyon del Oro High School in 1988, where I have been teaching ever since.
I teach all levels of math, sponsor the Internet Club and Environmental Club, function as department chair for math, negotiate for the Education Association, teach classes for the District technology department, and generally make a nuisance of myself. I have the dubious distinction of having taught all of the team members, some of them in more than one class. I *really* should have my head examined.
I have a wife, Elethia, and I just had my first child. My other hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, gardening, music, and wasting time with the computer. My responsibilities for this project included writing this segment, and being a constant source of inspiration to the team members.
I am the most important member of the team because I have actually had a date with a female. Like I said, I am a constant source of inspiration . . .
