PURPOSE OF THIS PAGE..

Don't quite get what the teacher was talking about in class? Just want to get ahead of everybody and show off? Either way you've come the right place! This site's #1 purpose is to help young people achieve a higher understanding of physics. This is the place where you'll get a lot of self-studying done interactively

This site can be viewed with both text and HTML 3.2 compatible browsers. However, we recommend that you view this site with a HTML 3.2 compatible browser (i.e. Netscape Navigator 3.0+ or Internet Explorer 3.0+) with a resolution of 800x600. Why? These advanced browsers are capable of doing what is needed to help you achieve your goal of the ultimate understanding of physics. For example, cookies and JavaScripts are widely used in this web site. We use it for many purposes, including bookmarks, navigation tools, and much more (please read the section "Why design "Pzone" for the newer browsers?" for more details). All these wonderful tools are available to you through the magic of HTML 3.2. But then again, these are just some of our recommendations, our site is custom-designed to bring you to the page that fits your browsers limitations.

Design Layout

This site is mainly designed to be viewed with Netscape Navigator 3.0 or Internet Explore 3.0 and above or any other browsers that support HTML 3.2. This site uses JavaScript and images as tools to navigate our site on almost every page. We recommend that you use a JavaScript Enabled browser at 800x600 for best results viewing our pages. Also, our site has a Macromedia ® ShockWave ® file in our Theater section, which will require you to download Macromedia ® ShockWave ® plug-in, which can be found at http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/

Why design "Pzone" for the newer browsers?

This site, Pzone, takes advantage of many new features available in most of the browsers that is described above. After you enter Pzone, you will notice our "bookmark" feature, it's at the bottom of most pages. You can bookmark the page you last visited and continue with it the next time that you visit Pzone. Also, according to a survey, about 60-70% of the net users are using either Netscape Navigator 3.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0 and above. But, as we said, we did design our page for multiple browser platform, which means you'll still be able to view our page even if your browser isn't HTML 3.2 compatible.

How to Jump Around

On most of our pages, there is at least three ways for you to get around this site a lot easier. First, you will find the menu bar on your left-hand side with all the sections in your current category. You can click on any of the words to go to that section. Second, you can also see a green GO button right below the pull-down list box with all the major places you are likely to go. Just simply choose anything in the pull down list box and press the green "GO" button and you'll be on your way in no time. Third, you'll be able to find a text-based navigation tool on the bottom of every page for those of you who are using a text based browser. The text-based navigation tool is also designed for faster browsing.

Internet Explorer - Upgrading Script Engines

Microsoft Internet Explorer uses its own scripting language "JScript" which is similar to Java Script but not 100% compatible. PZone uses the internet standard JavaScript, which is used widely by more browsers.. If you are using ANY version of Microsoft Internet Explorer except version 4.0, please get the Script Engines Upgrade. This will enable MSIE to run all the Java Scripts on this page with out any error messages. If you don't download the Upgrade, you will encounter error message through out the site. This error is caused by the incompatibility of MSIE with Java Script, not because of PZone.

Ok, now that all the house-keeping stuff is done, lets get you rolling. After we performed a thorough research into the Science of Physics we were successful in narrowing down the major topics into four sections:

	Motion and Force
	Work and Energy
	Electricity and Magnetism
	Atomic and Nuclear Physics

We believe that these four sections would provide the most beneficial information to assist the understanding of physics for users throughout the K-12 grade level. And please read the disclaimer before you continue.

PZone has hits since August 1, 1997.
