Nebulae

A Nebula is a cloud of gas and dust that appear hazy from our view at earth. They are 
some of the most beautiful objects to observe from space. The word nebula comes from 
the Greek word for “cloud”.  There are actually many different types of nebulae. One 
notable type is the emission nebula, a nebula that glows, or emits light. Another type is a 
dark nebula, or absorption nebula. These nebula actually absorb radiation. Also, there 
are planetary nebula, which will be explained later.
