Technology and Virtual
reality Technology has come along way in the past couple hundred year and now is growing faster than ever. But it had to get started somehow and by some one. In 1873 Samuel Morse invented the telegraph which use an electromagnet for transmitting electronic signals. The next step in processing electronic signals was transistor(a key component in modern electronics), developed and Bell laboratories in 1947. Because of the Anti-trust legislation Bell laboratoies had to license its patent to any company who wanted to purchase it. One such company in Tokyo, Tokyo Telecommunications Laboratory had trouble raising the $25,000 license fee but it finally raised the money and grow in to one of the worlds leading electronic manufacture. Not that company goes by a different name "Sony". In 1949 the first electronic digital computer was designed and MIT, the computer was about the size of a small room and was designed to solve problems of aircraft control and modified for U.S. air defense purposes. |
