WELCOME TO THE BEGINNING

THIS IS WHERE IT BEGAN.....

"WELCOME ABOARD..... This is your captain speaking, my name is CAPTAIN VIRTUAL REALITY, but my crew calls me "VIRTU". If you're wondering how to correctly pronounce the name of the ship, it's like saying The 'NEXT'VR, VR standing for Virtual Reality. My cruiser flies at a nice speed of Strip 4, or as you know, Warp 9.95. My vessel is considered a class 1 vessel; good for transportation, exploration, and is known as one of the best battle cruisers ever.

When we leave the DOCKING BAY, just act normal and relax. We will be entering STRIP 4 very soon. My 2nd officer, IMMERSION is waiting for confirmation to enter the VIRTUAL SPACE PORTAL. Now that we have confirmation, we will be entering STRIP 1. IMMERSE, check connections. Okay, now we're ready to start. Now remember just relax, it won't take but a few seconds to get to STRIP 4.

Strip 1. Strip 2.. Strip 3... Strip 4.... now!

See it wasn't that bad. Well I'm going to sign off and check with my navigator, INTERACTIVITY, to see how things are going, but I'll check back periodically to make sure you're okay. Captain Virtu signing off."

Once the captain was off the intercom you decide to explore the ship and see what this whole thing is all about. What is this spaceship, and what is this place called Virtual Space? You can't even remember how you got on the space station. You look around the room, it's not like the rooms on earth, but it does have a window. You walk over to the window and look out to see the small outline of the space station that you just left behind a few minutes ago. You turn around and see a door on the other side of the room. When you get to the door you see that there is no doorknob. You walk toward the door. When you're about to arrive at the door, you see a pad on the wall next to the door. The panel shows two buttons. One button is labeled "Door" and the other button is labeled "Dream". You let your senses decide for you.
