This brings us to The White House
The White House
The White House is a wonderful way to start our tour of Roman Architecture.
One of the first things a person notices about the White House is the magnificent
columns that adorn the front. The Romans used columns quite a bit in their
buildings. They had 3 types, or "progressions" of columns. These were Doric,
Ionic, and Corinthian. The columns were made so well that many of them still
stand in Rome, while the rest of the building might lie in ruins.
Now let's go to another Famous Building in Washington D.C.
