Adolf Hitler
Hitler was born in 1889 in Brauna. At young his
ambition was to be an artist but was stopped by his
father who wanted him to be a civil servant. Hitler
showed little interest in studies and was liked by only
one teacher, a nationalist, Dr Leopold Potsch.
| In the first world
war, Hitler joined the army and won two
decoration for bravery. However, he failed to
rise as a corporal which he wanted to be. |

Germany’s failure in the war cause Hitler to
have the desire to renew the badly battered
nation and made it great again. He got the taste
of politics and always attended the German’s
Workers’ party meeting in Munich and soon
discovered his talent of speech. |
In 1921, the membership ended and it changed its
name to National Socialist German Workers’
Party, or Nazi party and was headed by Hitler. |

Hitler wanted to make Germany a country under his
own control. However his rebellion against the
authorities landed him in jail. Germany was still
a democracy and Hitler failed to make any mark in
the election. |
However with the help with his friends, he managed to
increase his party’s power and won the election. He
ruled the whole country, allowing only one party to
exist. His plan to conquer the world started.
