Financial Aid Resources |
![]()
The one disappointing factor of college is that it is not free. Some colleges will cost you more than 30,000 dollars per year. This is definitely a lot of money, but there are lots of ways for you to get financial aid. There are mainly three different types of financial aid recourses offered to college students. These are scholarships & grants, educational loans, and student employment. Scholarships are awarded to students who have met the requirements of a scholarship, and have gone above and beyond. Grants are very similar to scholarships except they are only based on need. The state, the government, and colleges give educational loans. Their interest rates are lower than a normal rate. Educational loans are expected to be repaid after you have graduated or left college. Student Employment is getting a job while going to college. You can sometimes get a job that is involved with the field of study that you are going into.
