About CollegeMart

The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) is a national test that allows colleges to compare applicants in different subjects. You can take it once in the spring of your junior year and then again in the fall of your senior year. Most students east of the Mississippi take this exam.

The American College Testing (ACT) program is also a national test that allows colleges to compare applicants. You may only take the ACT once. Most students west of the Mississippi take this exam.
