The Fokker Dreidecker was one of the most feared planes in the Allied arsenal. It was the aircraft of choice for the Red Baron (Baron Manfred von Richthofen), who seemed nearly invincible to Allied pilots.
With its unique triple-wing design, the Fokker Dreidecker was one of the most maneuverable planes of the first world war. Its ability to out-turn and out-climb all Allied planes (with the exception of the Sopwith Camel) coordinated nicely with the pair of long machines guns to make the Fokker a dreaded foe.
