The influence of clothes through the years

As a subject for the presentation for Thinkquest we chose: clothes for and of young people. Not just clothes, but the history of clothes from the sixties onwards. We chose that date because we think that in those years a great change was brought about, especially for young people in Europe.

What kind of influence have clothes had on young people then and now? And how have the different styles we know now developed?

We want to present this subject in a very attractive way by showing a combination of the clothes, music and dances which belong to the various styles and their historical background.

 Nowadays music and the way you look, are very important for young people, because in this way they want to differentiate themselves from the older generation.

 Therefore we are certain that this subject will be very interesting for many of us.
