OUR FAVORITE FISH
We have owned many different fish. Out of
all of them we prefer live-bearing fish
because they are fun to have and fairly
easy to breed. We also like bumble bee
gobies because they are small and they have
an interesting cone like fin on their
stomachs that acts as a tripod and a
suction cup. Cory cats are fun to because
most of them stay small and they are pretty
good fish to have in a community fish
aquarium. Most tetras make good pets. Our
favorites are the neon and the rasbora
tetras. They make great pets because they
are cheap, hardy and fun to watch. The same
goes for kuhli loaches. They are like
little eels with fins. They hide under
plants and rocks a lot of the time, but
they do come out from hiding and are neat
to watch. We have to say that our most
favorite aquarium creatures are not fish at
all. My second most favorite creature is
the African Dwarf frog. They are small
aquatic frogs that are interesting to
watch. Our personal favorite of all are
newts. They are not fully aquatic though,
they need plenty of land to walk on. |
