You don't need wieghts, find something that you find heavy to lift, but you have to be able to lift with one hand.
hold your 'weight' with your arm by your side, lift your 'weight,' hold your upper arm by your side, be sure, not to lift it to an angle, or you will be working your fore - arm aswell, but if you want big bicieps, you should keep your upper arm straight by your side. Do about 5 - 12 sets of 5 - 12 reps, depending on how heavy your 'weight' is.
to lose your weight, you should stop eating junk, eat proper meals, don't snack and try to get your heart rate up using exercise like running, cycling, rowing and depending on how fit you are, most things will raise your heart rate, there is alot to wieght loss to learn, so i can't really tell you all about it right now, but if you do these things, you should be able to do what you want, any other muscle groups, just ask
