Rese is right, the best solution is to see your doctor. There is a drug on the market called "Roaccutane" (i think that's how you spell it) and it's for serious cases of acne, or when acne just refuses to clear up. However, it's not readily given for females as it can cause problems during pregnancy. My doctor told me not to waste time on all of the crap out there available for treating acne. The products readily available are for minor cases of acne, and generally don't work for the rest of us "normal" teenagers (as opposed to all the models you see in the ads...). Also, I was told that acne has NOTHING to do with your diet, it's all hormonal...I'm merely quoting the doctor here. So your best solution is to do as Rese says, see your doctor about it.
: Hi there Sarah,
: Acne is a common problem among most folk (teens and pre-teens and so forth). One thing that is NOT suggested for folk to do is to sample every store-shelf acne product. Asking help from your doctor is the best thing to do, wash your face when you wake up in the morning and before you go to bed at night. Please refrain from using the ever so popular home concoction acne cures, be on the safe side and ask your doctor if he has any sample size medicines that you could use to help clear up the acne. I don't know if this medicine works, there is this hotline that one can call for advice on acne...I will look it up for you and post it a.s.a.p.
: : I have acne, but not bad. I would like to know what I

: : I would like suggestions if possible.
