Don't ask her any questions; just you talk to her. Then at the end, add a tear or to for effect and run to your room "crying." Your mom will fell so bad that she will follow you and start the "Oh, honey, I didn't know that you felt that way yada yada yada..." Believe me, it works!!! (for my girlfriend anyway *SMILES*)
