Hi I am also going to get certified but I am by ACE. I know that AFAA has a written and a practical where you have to teach a small segment of a class in front of a group and ACE has only a written portion. You can go on the internet and get an application and send it in to them. There are prep workshops you can attend for both. Good Luck. Let me know what you decided to do and with whom.
