You could try doing calf raises (stand on a step or something where you're elevated and let your heel keep off the step so the balls of your feet are on the step). Slowly lower your heels then slowly raise them. Do a set of fifteen reps and then repeat.
Don't forget to work your achilles tendon (I think that's the name of the front part of your lower leg...uhh...can't really remember the name at the moment...). You can do that by just kneeling on one knee and placing a reasonable weight (something you can lift) on top of the top of your foot. Slowly raise the balls of your feet and toes, till there's only your heel left on the floor. Slowly lower and repeat. Do twelve reps and repeat on the other foot.
