I'm 41 and 225 lbs. I have a gut and started to do sit-ups. On the 2nd day (only did 10) when I finished my tummy muscles tighten up on me and cause much pain.
I took short breaths, like I was in labor, while finding a comfortable position on my knees by the couch. I couldn't stand or sit.
Should I be warming up and cooling down for abs work? I don't want to get thrown off track and stop working my tummy. I'm doing a diet, also.
