Hi there friend,
My name is Paul.I am 61Years old.100 kilos,5'10",and have a bit of a gut fat.I attend the local gym 4 days a week, for about 2 hours a time.My question is- -can I do weights, and all the machines.....(about 10),every day......as I have been doing for the last six months;......Or should I split it up into weights and some exercises - - one day;.... and the machines and some exercises - -the next day???
I have lost about 15 lbs in six months.and am building up my muscles, slowly and feeling fine.I like the routine that I am doing now, but I have been told that my whole routine is wrong.......That I should not 'Do Weights',....every day, in my routine,as I will damage some chest muscles and 'burn them out'.Should I take this advice, and alternate my days on weight with other
days on different machines?? or stay in my present regime, doing a bit of everything, several times over, and feeling better ,...mentally and physically....as time goes by.I do not 'over- exert myself on weights or any other routine, and like to do everything- - -every day.Basically-----------If I do weights every day-----as part of my routine----In moderation,Am I doing myself harm.I dont feel as if I am.......so,could I continue on ....as at present.Thanking you for your time in considering my position.
Yours faithfully,
Paul Martin.
