hi there Betty,
that's abso faboo (absolutely fabulous) that you've been exercising for three and a half months! You deserve laudation for exercising for three and a half months.
Umm...losing your abdomen isn't quite possible. There are lots of super thin models out there who happen to still have rather noticeable abdomens. May I ask as to what type of exercises you've been doing? Have they been mainly crunches and the strength (resistance) training for your abs? Have you been adding some cardio activity to your exercises? How often do you do the ab exercises?
One thing I can say about trying to lose one's abs,is that you need to keep working at it and keep your body guessing as to what type of exercise you will be doing -> that way you keep your abdominals working hard to keep up with the variety of exercises that you do. Just make sure you add some cardio to your abdominal exercises (maybe every other day after you've done your abdominal exercises) to keep everything balanced. It's quality - not quantity - that counts when doing the resistance (strength) training. Try adding pulsing to your abdominal exercises and/or just holding your body in the up position of a crunch for about thirty seconds (you can really feel this move working your abdominals). For some flat abs are just genetic, for others well, it's either you have 'em or ya don't. Then again, working hard and sticking with it (like what you're doing) will eventually result in those gorgeous flat abs.
Not too sure if I make any sense to you. if ya have any questions to ask or want more ab exercises, you can e-mail me with more details and I'll try my best to send to you whatever exercises could possibly help you.
