Well, Ines,
One way to keep from having those temptations is merely to not have as much a portion of fatty foods as you usually do. You can still have your cake and eat it too, mayhap not as much, BUT you can still eat it. One thing you may want to try doing (I do this myself) is merely exercising when you get a craving for that fatty food. Of course, another great way to "avoid temptation" is to eat a few slices of bread and drink a full glass of water when you get that craving for the fatty food. (The idea of eating bread instead of going straight to eating that fatty food is that you'll be so full from the bread AND water you won't have any craving for the fatty food.) Then again, when I'm pretty desperate for the fatty food, I just keep postponing eating it - meaning I say to myself, "rese, I'll eat that food in five minutes." And when those five minutes comes I say to myself, "rese, five more minutes before I eat that fatty food." Eventually (if you try this tactic) you'll hit the point where the temptation for eating that fatty food will have dissipated. I'm dead serious about these tactics, it may be hard the first few times around but you just have to stick with and then you'll see. Otherwise if you find that these tactics aren't working for you, mayhap you can go about devising your own way of avoiding tempting foods. If ya need any help I'm always here.
