Lacey,
perhaps you could take a look at the diet part of this page. what's key if you would like to lost that weight is to maintain the same if not a bit less than the usual amount of calories you take in during a day and increasing the amount of exercise you do. some may say that they do not have time to exercise, one must make the time to exercise and one must learn to stick with the exercise diet program for at least six weeks if they actually want to see any results. An exercise program you could try out (and this is kind of brutal, but the best one in my head for the while) is the following.
SUNDAY - DAY OFF
MONDAY - Do 45 minutes of cardiovascular activity and 30 minutes of resistance training
TUESDAY - do 45 minutes of cardiovascular training, 45 minutes of resistance training.
WEDNESDAY - do 1 hour of resistance training, 15 minutes of cardiovascular activity
THURSDAY - do 1 hour and 15 minutes of cardiovascular activity
FRIDAY - Do 45 minutes of cardiovascular activity and 45 minutes of resistance training.
SATURDAY - do 30 minutes of resistance training.
that's pretty much a program for a week, just repeat that for six weeks. Also, you may want to cut down on the amount of dessert you eat, junk food and snacks, I'm not saying to give it up completely, just cut down on the amount you eat of it. also, try to eat your larger meals during the beginning of your day. space out your meals, drink lots of water and well, keep motivated!
