The YMCA has good ideas on how to do lose weight. Ask them what to do. Also, running/jogging helps A LOT. So do nordic track ski machines do if you have the coordination to use them. If you want to use the weights, use mostly the lower body things for your legs and thighs. Don't use so much weight that it is hard to lift it, but a little bit for a lot of reps.
