It exercise the legs, (obviously) and burns a lot of the right calories. running at a steady pace for longer times is genrally better than shorter and faster running. Just 30mins a week can help, just be patient with the results your getting, even when you think your not getting anywhere. Don't get to much of a complex though! You may be just too self-concious!
