Start out by walking at a comfortable pace. Even if it's only for a short time or distance at first, you will gain benefits. Increase the distance & speed that you walk as you start feeling more energized. If you like bicycling, try that instead. The key is to find an aerobic activity you like...maybe even following one of the programs on TV and do simpler versions of what they show. Could even try a video for variety. Gradually add simple strength training moves. There are several good books on the subject...check your library or bookstore. If you don't find something you like, it is VERY hard to stick with it! Been there...done that. Think I'm finally heading the right way (or "weigh" depending on your viewpoint). Good luck.
