There is no quick and easy way to lose fat in the abdominal
region. The old cliche' of doing thousands of situps or
isometric exercises does not hold up in real life. It is
true that by doing abdominal exercises, you can tone the
underlying musculature, but the only way to truly lose weight
is to partake in a regular aerobic exercise program 4-5 times/week
for 30-40 minutes at a time. START SLOWLY!!! Eventually
the pounds will come off. Unfortunately, they don't always
come off where we want them to first. This is OK. Be patient. You
should only be losing 1-2 lbs/week anyway. If you are losing more
than this, it is mostly water weight, and won't stay off anyway.
Work on your diet too. Watch fatty foods, etc.
