When people ask for advice, as this girl did, I replied with an answer. I also said that she should see a doctor and a psychiatrist. So first, read followups before you comment, and second, grow up. I deal with people as part of my daily life - when someone is having a hard time the last thing anyone needs to do is criticize them.
I'm sure your mother told you, if you don't have anything nice to say, keep your trap shut, so some variation on that theme. Sounds like you need to revisit that line.
