People pick on others because they are generally insecure about themselves -
because you are larger than average. With that out of the way, I did a little
checking - according to the National Institute of Health (www.nih.gov) you are
classified as "Moderately Overweight." Because this chart is presented for matured
adults - the curve is slightly higher than that for young people. I checked my
handy-dandy body fat calculator, and it had something different to say. Based on
your height and weight, your "Ponderal Index" is 11.86 which gives an estimated
body fat of 36.6% (54.9 pounds of fat). That is over 1/3 of your body weight devoted
to fat. As I don't know you personally, the best thing I can reccomend is to see
your personal physician, and ask about what weight loss programs he reccomends.
It's a harsh fact to come to grips with (I've been there) but being overweight
just isn't healthy.
