Good idea Kurt, but maybe not totally accurate. Ron mentions he has good shoes,
and for running it doesn't take much - just some basic impact absorbant soles.
My idea is this - I personally can not run or do well in "cross country" sports,
ones that make extended use of feet such as running and skiing - I push it by
rollerblading, but I have special soles to support flat feet. I'd check with a
local podiatrist about foot aches, they may be able to tell you something. It
could even be that you have a slight difference in the length of your legs!
That would probably be the easiest to solve with a special padded sole (similar
to the ones I use) in your right shoe!

Hope this helps, if not, try Kurts idea - just get some impact resistant running shoes!
