Keep doing what you're doing! Don't worry so much about having a FLAT stomach. Instead, concentrate on being firm all over. Start lifting weights at home. Start off with 3 or 5 lb. hand weights. Most come with a whole page of exercises that tone your upper body. Start doing crunches again--GO SLOW and FOCUS on your muscles contracting, and hold each crunch for about 3 seconds. It really works and makes your abs feel tired, but great. Keep on walking, too. Walking is great for the lower body, but if you want to concentrate on building muscles in your legs too, try speed walking, and then when you get home do sets of lunges. I do all this EVERY night. You have to set up a routine and stick to it. It's called DISCIPLINE! Good luck and NEVER GIVE UP!!!
