The arrival date

Our arrival date can very easily be estimated by adding the time necessary for the journey (what we have called Ttransfer) to the launch date.

Tarrival = Tlaunch+Ttransfer

This results in an arrival date in Mars of October 12, 1999.

Perhaps this day will be later remembered for the discovery of Mars rather than the discovery of America!
