Awareness at the School Level

After sharing our stories with our school members, we were excited to receive a warm sense of ownership of the Earth's resources among the students of our batches and of those below ours. With their help we organised a Poster Drive at one of our schools - Springdales School, Pusa Road and at the villages nearby that have been adopted by our school namely Dasghara village and Todapur village.

The differently inclined artsy students scripted and performed a play on the Water Crisis in front of an assembly of 1500 students on 22 April 2012, Earth Day.

With the help of the art faculty of our school, we organized 'Save Water, Save the Earth' week and in the upcoming exhibition of our school, the students were able to display their creative skills and address the issue. The exhibition had a section dedicated to the week where the students showcased their poster making and photography skills.  

Our journey is far from over, but now at least we're determined to follow the path that leads us in the direction of our choice. We aren't sure of where this rainbow will end, but we're hopeful it will in a better planet Earth.
