Farah's Log

• About Me

  I'm 11 years old. My father is a businessman and my mother works as a lecturer in UiTM. During my free time, I like to watch music videos on YouTube, mostly K-Pop.

• Task

  I have been chosen to be the project manager. Basically, I take care of everything in this project. I must make sure everyone follow the project plan and finish each task according to the time line. There are many challenges but thanks to my friends and our coach, they support me all the way.

• I learned....

  For this project I have learned to use ICT devices and application. I use online mind map for brainstorming session, Microsoft Word to write report, PowerPoint to present our project, adobe Photoshop for making poster and photoscape to edit pictures. The first time I was introduced to Photoshop, it seems so complicated. However after doing some research on the Internet, I learned to love it. There is abundance of free tutorials and there is no limit of what we can do with it. Besides that, we also learned to use digital camera and manipulate photos.

• Challanges

  The greatest challenge is managing other people. Then as a project manager I also need to make sure that the project completed as a group and works been delegated fairly to everyone.

Ainina's Log

• About me

  I'm 11 years old and I'm originally come from Kedah. I move here with my parents. There are teachers. I spent my free time surfing the Internet and updating my status in Face book.

• Task

  I'm the editor for this project. Basically, I checked every words and sentences that my friends and I typed in the project site. As for that, I have to carry dictionary everywhere I go. I always met my English teacher to get her help as well.

• I learned...

  By doing this project my English has improved. This is because I work as an editor meaning I always refer to dictionary. Besides that, most of our resources are in English. It was hard at first and after sometime, it becomes natural to us. However, I realized that there is still plenty of room for us to improve.

• Challange

  For the last 3 months, I have done things that I have never imagined before. I would regard the project as an adventure because we started out with no ideas at all, then we have to use everything that we knew, searched for more information, did everything that we can full heartedly and finish the project with my mind saying, "I want more! I want more!

• About Me

  I'm 11 years old. I spend most of my free time reading books and of course doing homework.

• Tasks

  For this project, I have been assigned as sales manager. I'm taking of selling our bookmarks, record our sales analyze and measure our success.

• I learned that.....

  Business is the best way to get money and working together as a team helped us to sell more products and increase profit. Together we have created things that has not never been done by any students in our school, we created business plan. I also learned that if we put all effort and work hard, we will get good results.

• Challange

  The greatest challenge for me is to get funding. We have to really convince our parents that our business is real and we are going to make money. The workshop that we have conducted was also challenging. We didn't have any experience and didn't know what to expect from the participants.
