Many people believe it is inevitable that humans are going to Mars. The biggest question among researchers is why are we going? What is the purpose or the purposes of such a huge undertaking? Some people are curious about everything that goes on around them. The interest in Mars travel may be to satisfy their sense of curiosity. Others are afraid of what they don't know and therefore hope to increase their sense of security by learning more. Some people look at Mars as a place to populate and a place with resources to enrich life on Earth. All of these people have the motivation to study Mars.
