John Greuner works at Johnson Space
Center in Houston, Texas. He calls himself a space farmer. This means that
he works on artificial life support systems and related technology development.
He has applied a variety of new technologies to several space shuttle missions.
He is interested in the colonizing of Mars and the moon. Right now John
is developing food related technologies that we will use to live on the
