-Wladyslaw Stanislaw Reymont started writting his
first poems.
- 1891
-he wrote the first collections of short stories:
"The Meetings.", "Krosnowa City and the
world."
-he became the correspondent of the Warsaw weekly
"The Voice''.
- 1893
-he published in Cracow newspaper "The
Opinions" a short story entitled "Christmas
Eve."
-he described his impressions from the pilgrimage to
Jasna Gora. He published this report in "Ilustrated
Weekly."
-he started working at "Promised Land."
- 1896-1899
-he spent majority of time in France.There he wrote
"The Promised Land"
-in1896 he published the novel "Comedienne"
-in 1897 he published the sequel of
"Comedienne"- "The Ferments"
-"Promised Land" was printed in 1899; he
published too "Lili", 'The deplorable
idyll"
- 1902
-Reymont published "Before the Dawn"
-he started working over the novel entitled "The
Peasants" (he spent this year in France)
- 1903
-he resided mostly in Warsaw and Zakopane. He wrote
"From the diary", and the volume entiled
"The short stories".

-"The
Peasants" was printed the
first time:
- I, II volumes ( "The Autumn" and "The
Winter" ) were printed in 1904
- III volume ( "The Spring" ) was printed in
1906
- IV volume ( "The Summer" ) was printed in
1909

-Reymont wrote collection of novelette "From
distrist of Chelm ", "Impressions and
notes" and novel "The Dreamer".

-he published the novel entitled "The
Vampire"
- 1913-1918
- the unfinished historicl novel "A year 1794" was printed. This novel consists of three
volumes:
1) "The last Seym of Polish-Lithuanian
Commonwealth"
2) "Nil desperandum"
3) "The Insurrection" (unfinished)

-he published the second volume of "The Short
stories" and novelette "An oath."
- 1923
-Reymont wrote the novel "The two novel"
- 1924
-he published the novel entitled "The
Rebellion"
-he received the Nobel Prize for the epos in prose
entiled "The Peasants"
