Milosz - the translator.

Milosz - the translator of the Book of Psalms. In 1979 the translation of the Book of Psalms by Milosz was published. Anyway, it is not the only fragment of the Bible translated by him Earlier he published : The Gospel according to St.Mask, the „Book of Ecclesiastes” and in 1980 - jeremiah’s Furenadies and Book of job or threnodies according to Jeremiah The Book of Psalms is the translation from Hebrew here Milosz tries to create Polish modern „high” language, hieraic and liturgical, whose sources could be found in all the past, but at the same time would be accepted by today’s language sensitiveness. This translation in Poland is considered to be the best present-day translaton of the Book of Psalms.
