My Impressions of the Game

For someone like myself, who loves baseball and who has loved the Red Sox, for more than 55 years, this job is truly a dream come true. The environment at Fenway Park is marvelous. The people with whom I work are exceptionally fine individuals. The opportunity to see and interface with so many people who are former Major League players, and who were heroes to me as I loved and followed this magnificent game, is wonderful beyond words. People I've seen and chatted with this year: Johnny Pesky of the Red Sox, Brooks Robinson of the Orioles, Richie Ashburn of the Phillies, Jim Kaat now broadcasting for the Yankees, Al Kaline of the Tigers, Ernie Harwell - Hall of Fame Broadcaster with Detroit, Bob Uecker of Milwaukee, Herb Score of Cleveland and Phil Rizzuto of the Yankees. It's a fabulous experience; it's an incredible opportunity. I absolutely love doing it!
