  • The chart below gives an overview of each of the player's seasons
    1. YR = YEAR: the year each row is referring to
    2. CLUB = CLUB: the team the player was on
    3. G = GAMES: the number of games played (this could be low due to injury)
    4. AB = AT BATS: the number of times the player has stepped up to the plate, not counting times when he/she is walked, hit by a pitch, hits a sacrifice bunt or fly, or is otherwise awarded first base because of interference or an obstruction.
    5. R = RUNS: the number of runs the player scored
    6. H = HITS: the number of times the player hit and reached base
    7. 2B = DOUBLES: the number of hits that were doubles
    8. 3B = TRIPLES: the number of hits that were triples
    9. HR = HOME RUNS: the number of home runs
    10. RBI = RUNS BATTED IN: the number of times people on the player's team (including himself) have scored thanks to his hitting
    11. SB = STOLEN BASES: the number of stolen bases
    12. SO = STRIKEOUTS: the number of times the player has struck out
    13. AVG = BATTING AVERAGE: the ratio of the number of times that batter has hit safely to the number of at bats
  • The totals for all the years are given. This is done by adding up all of the categories, except for batting average, which is averaged
  • At the end is a cool little factoid
