Lobsters

Description: Lobsters a usually thought to be bright red, but actually they only turn red when they are cooked. They are blue-green spotted with green black. Their claws are orange.

What it eats:Lobsters have very sharp claws, which they used to tear apart meat from animals and fish.

Where it lives: Lobsters near the Atlantic Ocean. In warm weather, they stay near the shore, but during the winter they live in the ocean sometimes up to 200 feet under.

Other Information: Lobsters, like crabs, are also a large food source for people. To catch them, fishermen bait a large box with dead fish and sink it into the ocean.
