Dog's Last Day (An American Indian Story)
One day, Dog was feeling curious. So he set out on a walk. On his walk through the woods, he came across Squirrel. Dog ran around Squirrel asking him, "What is your name?" and, "Where do you live?" Dog kept on pestering Squirrel. Finally, Squirrel ran up the nearest tree to get away from Dog.
Dog continued his walk. Dog came across a very weird looking tree. Dog asked the tree, "Why are you so weird looking?" Tree didn't answer. Dog asked again, "Why are you so weird looking?" Once again, Tree didn't answer. Dog tried to get Trees attention by pushing him over. Tree didn't budge, he just ignored Dog.
It was getting late, and on his way home, Dog encountered Bear. Today, Bear seemed to be very cranky. Dog didn't care, he just asked Bear, "Do you want to play? Huh, huh?" Dog kept asking Bear more and more questions and was beginning to make Bear very angry. Then, with one big chomp, Dog was no more and Bear was happy.
The moral of this story: Know when it's time to stop annoying someone.
