Tessellation System 4B

This tesselation system consists of interlocking rhombi, each of which contains the entire bird shaped motif. To fill the plane, the motif has been translated (shifted) diagonally, as if it were on rails. The motif was then glide reflected both horizontally and in vertically. Glide-reflection is the process of translating an object and then reflecting (flipping) it over the line it followed while being translated.
